Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia

My name is Achena Narlyn Finik. I consider myself a Chuukese, although I was raised on the Island of Saipan. Specifically, I am from the lagoon islands of Weno and Tonoas. I recently graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology and a minor in Sociology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo. As of now I am trying to live life like my beloved Gandhi and hopefully I will have the enthusiasm to do something good. I dream of winning the Nobel Peace Prize someday.

My writings are mainly about things that happened in my life or about things that I am concerned about. There's a great fluctuation of mood in my work and that's because my daily life is like that. I apologize if I may offend some readers with my work but I do believe that I am entitled to my own opinion. With all respect, I appreciate your sincerity in taking the time to read my poetry.
