The Friends of UHHART fund enhances the educational mission of the Art Discipline of the University of Hawai'i at Hilo as well as the cultural environment of the Island of Hawai'i. It seeks to encourage interaction between community members, faculty, and students in the interest of artistic and cultural development; and to solicit the active support of the community in the sustenance of a vigorous Art Discipline at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo so that the program will better serve students and residents of the Island.
