Pōhue

Pōhue Bay is situated below Hawaiian Ocean View Estates and Hawaiian Ocean View Ranchos in the Kaʻū district on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. This site requires permission from private landowners to access, and therefore the reef receives minimal anthropogenic disturbance. Pōhue Bay is also an important nesting ground for the hawksbill sea turtle.
