Nursing Class of 2024 included 28 graduates in Hilo cohort and nine in Waiʻanae cohort.
Through awards and scholarships, outstanding students received recognition for their excellence in academics, research, and community service.
A family-oriented event, the pinning is a traditional ceremony of induction into the profession of nursing.
Theresa-Regina Rivera and Mark Jones will be featured in the upcoming film ‘Ike, Knowledge is Everywhere, a documentary about the education system in Hawai‘i. The film will have its premier at the Hawai‘i International Film Festival in November.
