UH Hilo alumnus builds time machine, makes pit stop at UH Hilo

Oliver Holler, a UH Hilo alumnus, and his wife Terry Oliver, have traveled to all 50 states with the 1982 DeLorean Time Machine they built to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Disease.

Record-setting space travel simulation gets underway. Six astronaut-like crew members said their final good byes on October 15, 2014 as they entered an isolated domed habitat for eight months, for the longest space travel simulation conducted on U.S. soil.

First Hilo cohort graduates from Master Food Preserver certificate program

The UH Hilo food preserver program is designed to teach farmers and small agribusinesses how to safely preserve products from undersold and underutilized produce. The purpose is to help increase revenues.

UH Hilo College of Pharmacy receives $33 million for construction of new facilities

The funds will finance the construction of a new building that will include classrooms, teaching and research laboratories, offices and related spaces in accordance with Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education standards and guidelines.
