Exchange agreement signed between UH Hilo and Yokohama University of Pharmacy

The agreement will allow UH Hilo students to train with an approved licensed pharmacist in Japan, and in turn, students in Japan can come to UH Hilo to earn their academic requirements.

UH Hilo alumna Keola Awong selected as Kahuku Unit area manager in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park

Awong earned a BA in anthropology with a minor in Hawaiian studies from UH Hilo, and went on to earn her master’s at UH Mānoa. She began her career in the national park as a fee collector in 1999.
