Throughout the night at UH Hilo, activities held on the Campus Center Plaza honored those affected by cancer.
It was a time for the UH Hilo community to indulge in soul food for the mind and the belly. Theopholius O’Neal was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and Achievement.
International Nights is a long-standing tradition at UH Hilo that spans over three decades, and is a favorite event on campus among students, the community, and visitors.
The University of Hawaiʻi is the higher education partner in the Mālama Honua Worldwide Voyage, with over 50 people from all 10 campuses directly involved.
People enjoyed food, prizes, performances and entertainment, crafts, and carnival games.
A total of 290 degrees and certificates were awarded. Congratulations to UH Hilo’s Fall Graduates!
The concert featured songs from throughout Zappa’s recording career with an emphasis on his bestselling albums from the 1970s such as Joe’s Garage, Apostrophe’ and One Size Fits All.
The tree follows a new theme being explored at ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center: the intersection of paper folding and science.
