On April 23 and 24, the Ibis Networks will be on campus to install the devices.
The colorful mural, part of a statewide project, depicts cultural elements, historical places, and significant stories of Hilo.
Children from E Maka‘ala Elementary School, high school students from Laupāhoehoe Community Public Charter School, and students from UH Hilo’s pharmacy program all took their turn adding to the mural today.
Mele Murals is a statewide youth project where communities are creating a series of large-scale outdoor murals focusing on Hawaiian cultural and historical heritage.
Pacific Students Media was founded by UH Hilo students to combat misinformation in the general media about Pacific Islanders in Hawai‘i.
UH Hilo is the only campus of the 10-campus UH System that serves 65 percent locally produced food.
The facility now has a confidential waiting area, nursing triage stations, a pharmacy, treatment areas, a designated lab area, work stations and a private office for the provider.
