UH Hilo’s new Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs Carla Ho‘a was welcomed to campus today with a traditional kīpaepae ceremony.
Assistant Professor of Management Todd Inouye is the permanent director of the business college in a newly defined role with the responsibilities of a department chair and a dean who works closely with other college leadership.
Carla Ho‘ā joins UH Hilo from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she served most recently as vice chancellor and chief financial officer. She begins her work at UH Hilo in January 2023.
Ms. Ho‘ā’s appointment begins January 9, 2023, pending UH Board of Regents notification at a November 2022 meeting.
