Aloha UH ʻohana,

All 10 University of Hawaiʻi campuses will be closed Monday, August 17. The closure follows Gov. Josh Green’s announcement that state, county offices and public schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala.

Students and employees should look for campus-specific messages with additional information on operations, employee reporting and any other exceptions. For example, UH Mānoa will continue with Student Housing Move-In Day and scheduled Athletics activities.

Essential employees and others specifically directed to report to campus should follow instructions from their supervisors.

Please continue to monitor your hawaii.edu email and UH RAVE Alert system for the latest information.

Mahalo,

UH Emergency Management
