UH Hilo pharmacy college announces 27 spring graduates eligible to become practicing pharmacists
Members of the PharmD Class of 2026 plan to pursue pharmacy careers in clinics, hospitals, community settings and more.
The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo pharmacy college published this week the list of Class of 2026 spring graduates who are eligible to become practicing pharmacists.
The 27 graduates from the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy had their doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) degrees conferred at spring commencement on May 16th. After four committed years of doctoral education and training, the graduates are now eligible to become licensed as practicing pharmacists.
In addition to earning their PharmD degrees, all graduates concurrently earned a bachelor of arts in pharmacy studies. Specialized graduate certificates in rural health were also merited by three PharmD graduates.

Zachary Minato was the class valedictorian. Tracy Pham was awarded the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) Senior Recognition Certificate. Yukino Sugihara received the Viatris Excellence in Pharmacy Award.
