Video: Grinds and Vibes! UH Hilo ʻohana comes together at Welina Bash

A new tradition is launched as the UH Hilo ʻohana comes together to celebrate the start of fall at an AMAZING Welina Bash.

The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo celebrated the start of the semester with an afternoon of good vibes, great company, and awesome entertainment last Thursday.

At Welina Bash: Grinds and Vibes, there was a fantastic lineup of live music from local artists Kanaka Fiyah and The Vitals 808, a delicious selection of food, and a no-host bar of limited beer, wine, and seltzers. Sponsored by UH Hilo Administrative Affairs, the fun event was held at the Mookini Library lānai and the Campus Center. UH Hilo students, faculty and staff, with an invitation extended to the Hawaiʻi Community College campus community, were invited.
