The costumes were epic this year from Bela Dimetrescu of Resident Evil 8 (first place for Most Scariest) to Joshua Graham from Fall Out Las Vegas (first place for Most Creative). Boo!

University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo’s Student Activities Council produced a spectacular spooktacular Halloween Costume Contest this year. The event was held mid-day today on the library lanai.
There were three categories for the contest: Most Scariest, Most Funniest, and Most Creative. First place winners in each category won $100 and the runner up in each category won $75.

Most Scariest
First Place in Most Scariest category: Aria Delgado. Costume: Bela Dimetrescu from Resident Evil 8. Prize: $100.
Runner-up in Most Scariest category: Devin Guo. Costume: Ghostface. Prize: $75.
Most Funniest
First Place in Most Funniest category: Hunter Valencia. Costume: Yellow Pikmin.
Prize: $100.
Runner-up in Most Funniest category:
Haukea Valdez. Costume: Pi Cheolin (Seventeen, Kpop). Prize: $75.
Most Creative
First Place in Most Creative category: Jessyca Arnado. Costume: Whale Shark. Prize: $100.
Runner-up in Most Creative category: Joshua Bradley. Costume: Joshua Graham from Fallout New Vegas. Prize: $75.
