“It’s exciting to hold our annual award ceremony in-person again,” says Brian Wissman, interim dean of the college. This year’s event marked a return to an on-campus gathering following two years of virtual ceremonies during COVID-19.

“Congratulations to all our outstanding award and scholarship winners,” says Wissman. “Your commitment and dedication to your studies and research has inspired us all and I look forward to seeing your future work whether here at UH Hilo, elsewhere to further your studies, or through good work in our communities and environment. I am so proud of you all.”
