Announcement: Summer Swim classes early registration starts Monday, May 1

To help with the registration rush and accommodate the UH Hilo ‘ohana, registration will open in three phases, based on priority and availability.

The Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo announced that registration for 2023 Summer Swim at UH Hilo will start on May 1. For safety and staffing reasons, availability is limited. The full schedule will be posted on the department’s website by the time of registration.

To help with the registration rush, and to accommodate the UH Hilo ‘ohana, registration will open in three phases, based on priority and availability.

      • Priority 1: May 1, 8:00 a.m.—Current UH Hilo Faculty and Staff
      • Priority 2: May 2, 8:00 a.m.—Returning Swimmers and Families
      • Priority 3: May 3, 8:00 a.m.—Open Public Enrollment

Early registration (Priority 1) for the 2023 Summer Swim program will begin on Monday, May 1st.

Only individuals in Priority 1 will be able to register at that time. (If you are a current employee and unable to register during this time, please contact the department’s office for elevated priority.)

Priority 2 registration will begin May 2. Individuals from both Priority 1 and Priority 2 will be able to register, if space is available.

Priority 3 registration will begin May 3. Individuals from all three priorities will be able to register, if space is available.

The registration system will only accept swimmers according to this schedule and if space is available.

Registration will be on the department’s website: Summer Swim at UH Hilo.

Check to be sure account information is up to date and that swimmer’s level reflects the person’s current swim ability.
