- Time change: The COVID-19 booster is available for employees and all students this Friday, March 25, noon to 2 p.m., University Classroom Building, room 127. Email uhhcovid@hawaii.edu with request. Bring valid state identification, medical insurance card, and vaccination card to verify previous doses.

UH Hilo professors Cecilia Bardwell-Jones from the Department of Philosophy and Becky Ostertag from the Department of Biology will be presenting along with experts from the U.S. Institute of Pacific Island Forestry.
“Calcium signaling in Neuroblastoma” with Ingo Koʻomoa-Lange, Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Wednesday, March 23, 1-2 p.m., Hale Kihoʻihoʻi Classroom LH-A (College of Pharmacy, University Park of Science and Technology, corner of S. Aʻohoku and Nowelo Street).
UH Hilo 2022 Women in Science Conference will be streamed online March 24. Sponsors of the conference are the Kaiameaola Club from the UH Hilo tropical conservation biology and environmental science graduate program, in collaboration with the departments of philosophy, anthropology, gender and women’s studies, and the Center for Place-Based Social Emotional Learning.
