UH Hilo Athletics launches new web design
Easier access, larger photos, and multimedia coverage including live video streaming are some of the new features.
The Office of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo has announced a new design for the Vulcans’ website. The athletics department partnered with website host Sidearm Sports for the new look launched on Aug. 18.
The design features larger photos on the main pages and in the biographical sketches for each player. There is also easier access to photo galleries and Vulcan Videos.
“I am excited about the redesign and launch of our new website,” says UH Hilo athletic director Patrick Guillen. “This current and updated design gives us a fresh look and is very user friendly. I know that our student-athletes, fans, alumni and community will enjoy visiting us even more online and keep up to date with all of our teams and events.”
This is the first redesign of the website since 2017. The new site includes news, schedules, tickets, rosters and statistics for all of UH Hilo’s 12 sports programs. The site also provides multimedia coverage including live video streaming, features, and more.
UH Hilo Sports Information Director Russ Blunk oversaw the project.
