The Campus Recreation Department now offers free virtual fitness classes with over 150 universities nationwide via a partnership with “Rec Movement.” Classes include Yoga, Zumba, Butts and Guts, Cardio Kettlebell, Body Pump, Pilates, Steps, Core Conditioning, and more! To join:

“Librarians for the Lahui,” a virtual Spring 2021 Eia Hawaiʻi presentation, Tuesday, March 9, 12:30 – 2 p.m.. Pre-registration required. The presentation showcases the work of four kānaka ʻōiwi librarians empowering the lāhui toward the deoccupation and decolonization of Hawaiʻi by increasing and improving access to ʻike kupuna.

Vulcan Athletics

A pair of 5-foot-8 guards, Kim Schmelz and Darren Williams, one wrapping up a career and the other just getting started, are this week’s UH Hilo Pepsi Athletes of the Week.

UH Hilo athletic department and Out of the Sea Media Arts Inc., will continue to video stream Vulcan home events this spring, with softball and baseball next on the docket.
