Flu shots available to UH Hilo ‘ohana, on campus Sept. 10 and Oct. 13
Safeway is offering flu shots to UH Hilo students, faculty, and staff, Thursday, Sept. 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., University Classroom Building room 127. Another clinic is scheduled for Oct. 13.
Safeway is offering flu shots to students, faculty, and staff at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo, Sept. 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., University Classroom Building room 127 (map). Remember to physical distance while waiting in line.
Flu shots are free if you have medical insurance. Safeway Pharmacy will accept HMSA (PPO/HMO/QUEST), HMA, HMAA, Evercare, Tricare, and Medicare. You must be a member of one of these plans. Safeway is not accepting Kaiser medical insurance at the moment. Bring your medical insurance information and driver’s license or ID and you can participate in this flu clinic, free of charge.
At the clinic, you will receive the consent and release form and the HIPAA form to complete before receiving the flu shot.
As an FYI, the university is planning a second on-campus flu clinic on Oct. 13 with KTA Superstores.
