National Coming Out Day, Safe Place Social at UH Hilo

Celebrating National Coming Out Day, Oct. 11, 2019, there were informational tables set up on the Campus Center Plaza, and a photo booth, games, food and “Coming Out Open Mic” fun inside the center.

LGBTQ+ logo, rainbow colors splashed onto a heart shape.Celebrating National Coming Out Day today, Oct. 11, 2019, the University of Hawaii at Hilo hosted “Coming Out Day: A Safe Space Social” at the Campus Center. There were informational tables set up on the Campus Center Plaza, and a photo booth, games, food and “Coming Out Open Mic” fun.

The events of the day were sponsored by the UH Hilo Office of Equal Opportunity, Women’s Center, and the LGBTQ+ Center.
