Approximately 640 students petitioned for degrees and/or certificates from the College of Arts and Sciences; the College Natural and Health Sciences; the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resource Management; the College of Business and Economics; the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy; Ka Haka ‘Ula O Ke‘elikōlani College of Hawaiian Language; and for various post-graduate credentials.

News reporter Mileka Lincoln gave the keynote address. Misty Figueira, who received a bachelor of arts in English and a bachelor of arts in sociology with a certificate in creative writing, was student speaker.
