The University of Hawai‘i at Hilo announced today Monica Morita has been named NCAA compliance coordinator and senior woman administrator at the Department of Athletics, effective Feb. 1.

“Monica has a strong background in student services including oversight of financial aid, athletic scholarships and student-athlete academic success,” says Patrick Guillen, UH Hilo director of athletics. “She is originally from Hilo with deep-rooted ties to the community and is a great addition and fit to our administrative staff. I am excited to have her join the Vulcans Team.”
