Spring Commencement at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo was held on May 16. Keynote speaker was John Pezzuto, founding dean of the UH Hilo pharmacy college (video of address below), and student speaker was Alyssa Loving.

Students petitioned for a total of 821 degrees and/or certificates from the colleges of Arts and Sciences (472); Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resource Management (29); Business and Economics (41); Ka Haka ‘Ula O Ke‘elikōlani College of Hawaiian Language (33); and Pharmacy (181). Others are candidates for various post-graduate honors (65).
