American Sign Language 1a Flyer

This class will introduce the basics of American Sign Language (ASL), including grammar and vocabulary for simple social conversation. Participants will also learn about deaf culture and rules of social interaction. Open to ages 15 and up.

Meet Angela Nagata

Angela Nagata has 18+ years of experience as a Teacher of the Deaf for preschool to 6th grade students. She received her M.S. in Special Education: Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing from Lewis and Clark College in Oregon, and is currently completing her EdS specializing in Early Childhood Education for ages 0-5.
