The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo is an institution that is committed to promoting a working and learning environment free of discrimination on the basis of race, sex, gender identity and expression, age, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, genetic information, National Guard absence, status as a covered veteran, marital status, sexual orientation, breastfeeding, income assignment for child support, domestic violence victim status, arrest and court record (except as permissible under State law), and retaliation.
