A gentle reminder, the hard deadline for the UH System Common Scholarship Application is Monday, March 2, so be sure to submit your application and supporting materials as soon as possible.

UHHSA Elections Tabling

Location: Library Lānai
Learn how you can get involved with the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Student Association (UHHSA). Come stop by the UHHSA table to pick up an application and find out how you can run for the 2020-2021 term student government elections. Food and refreshments will be provided while supplies last. Special Restrictions: Must be a current UH Hilo student with the intent to register for at least six (6) UH Hilo credits for Fall 2020 to run for the 2020-2021 UHHSA Senate. Mindfulness w/ Devi

Location: Student Services Center, Counseling Center Room E-203
This weekly session will help students learn simple practices to relieve stress, increase focus, and experience peace in your everyday life. Free to all students, faculty and staff. Hosted by Devi Stone, certified mediation teacher for 6 years. Drop-ins welcome. Event will be held in the Student Services Center, Counseling Center, Room E-203 from 11-11:30am. Career Fair Prep Workshops – How to use the Career Fair

Haumana Hou Lounge – Hosted by FYE

Stop by the Student Services Center room W-201 every Wednesday for a relaxing place to study! We’ll be open from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. The Haumana Hou Lounge (HHL) also hosts the HH Cafe which always offers free refreshments with a Starbucks-like experience by providing various coffee and tea options, as well as delicious snacks! HHL offers comfortable indoor & outdoor seating, a clean environment, and even AC for the occasional hot and humid Hilo evening. UH Hilo Welcome Banner Student Photo Shoot

All UH Hilo students are invited to be a part of a new welcome banner for UH Hilo’s main entrance! An open call photo shoot will be held on Thursday, February 20 at 3:30 p.m. at the Campus Center Stairs. Our new welcome banner will be posted at UH Hilo’s main entrance on West Kāwili Street, across from Hale ‘Alahonua. The photo will also be used for other University marketing initiatives. FYE provides this round trip shuttle to Hilo’s Target. Join us Friday – except during spring break and good Friday.
