Tuesday, we visited the Institution of Science and Technology at Skytree. We were welcomed by one of the head authorities of this institution and was able to see some of the new robotic inventions Japan is currently working on. The first invention we saw was a robot completely made from scratch whose purpose is to monitor the Nuclear plants.
Then, we seen an invention like no other yet, (holographic?) paper which has sensors that responds to a projector. It displays images on the paper which acts like a touch-screen on a smartphone. This institution houses many of Japan’s inventions, robotic engineering, exhibits on space and time, and even a life-sized robot transformer modeled for cartoon animations.
