The students who will be participating in the Tomodachi Inouye Scholars Program to Japan have all been selected, now the kumus are busy planning for their predeparture orientation program. Lots of hours have been spent meeting, emailing and calling our hosts in Japan preparing for the student’s visits and program in-country. We are grateful Kumu Harman and Kumu Ohara have agreed to take on the challenge of accompanying the UH Hilo students on this journey.
