In this episode, our mau mea kipa ~ special guests Akoni Nelsen & Kanani Enos share moʻolelo and ʻike about Kealakekua, the bay and surrounding area.  Check it out beginning May 28, 2025!

This fourth season of Ka Leo o ka Uluau consists of 12 episodes that began in November ~ Welehu 2024 with a shift in focus to our astonishing and inspiring Mauna and bodies of Wai & Kai of Hawaiʻi Island, from our relationship with native manu of Hawaiʻi (Season III 2023) and Hawaiian sustainable practices (Season II 2022) and moʻolelo wahi pana of Hawaiʻi Island (Season I 2021).

Season IV episodes will be released throughout the year on the Hilo moon phase of every malama, also known as mahina or lunar month, to raise awareness of and honor this indigenous practice of keeping time.

This segment was released May 28, 2025, initiating the Hawaiʻi lunar month of Kaʻaona.
