Noah Gomes returns to Ka Leo O Ka Uluau to join hosts Lei and Drew to share about the great river of Hawaiʻi Nui Kuauli who is known as the Wailuku.
This fifth season of Ka Leo o ka Uluau consists of 12 episodes beginning in Welehu 2025, in October, as we continue to focus on our astonishing and inspiring Mauna and bodies of Wai & Kai of Hawaiʻi Island. Just like Season IV (2024-25).
In previous seasons, we highlighted our relationship with native manu of Hawaiʻi (Season III 2023), Hawaiian sustainable practices (Season II 2022) and moʻolelo wahi pana of Hawaiʻi Island (Season I 2021).
Season V episodes will be released throughout the year on the Hilo moon phase of every malama, also known as mahina or lunar month, to raise awareness of and honor this indigenous practice of keeping time.
This episode was released around May 16, 2026, initiating the Hawaiʻi lunar month of Kaʻaona, a lunar month of the summer season of Kauwela in Hawaiʻi.
