Two webinars on developing and implementing Summer Bridge Programs will be offered by Innovative Educators to faculty and staff at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo. The webinars are sponsored by the UH Hilo Professional Development Committee and the Office of the Chancellor.
Designing Summer Bridge Programs: Curriculum Development, Delivery and Results

This webinar will examine curriculum development implementation, and outcomes of two types of summer bridge programs: one-week skill building and test prep programs as well as a three-week co-requisite program that clusters a general education course, a developmental literacy course, and a student success course. Participants will learn how to design (or redesign) summer bridge programs to achieve outcomes that support and advance an institution’s strategic priorities.
