At the close of the internship experience, students will be responsible for making a 10-minute oral presentation to the faculty and other student interns. This presentation will involve highlights of the student internship experience and the term paper.

Two non-POLS/AJ faculty members evaluated students. Scores were fairly consistent between evaluators. Strongest marks were in content (3.17) and delivery (2.92). Students scored lower in language (2.83) and organization and structure (2.75).

POLS/AJ Dept. will discuss the results of the oral communication assessment in Spring 2018 and look at ways in which we can enhance AJ students’ oral communication skills, focusing on all areas, but especially those where marks were the weakest (language and organization and structure).
