Data (measurement of the competency)

The benchmarks are 4 (Advanced), 3 (Competent), 2 (Emerging), and 1 (Beginning). Scores below 3 (Competent) are not acceptable for economics majors close to graduation. Unfortunately, only one of the eleven papers had an average score of 3 or higher.

Evaluator Tabular Data

Action Taken in Response to the Data (What will you do in response to the Findings?)

The Assessment Committee recommends making two courses in the core, BUS 290 (Critical Thinking) and MGT 300 (Mgt, Orgs & Human Behavior) permanently Writing Intensive. Note that the BA in Economics no longer exists; instead we have an Economics track in the BBA, so from now on we will only be assessing for the BBA.
