POLS 470S Seminar in Political Science Assignment
A final research presentation is the culmination of a semester-long research inquiry undertaken by each student in their chosen area of political science. Each student is expected to speak about their final paper for a minimum of 15 minutes. This PowerPoint presentation should discuss the research findings from the student’s chosen research area as well as to discuss the relevancy of each disciplinary subfield in Political Science to that selected research area. With a minimum of 25 cited academic journal articles, the final paper will be due immediately following the final presentation.

Two readers external to the department undertook evaluations of the student presentations. Both evaluators noted that students appeared to have been well-rehearsed and prepared, although two students did not show up for their presentations.
