The Adopt-a-Beehive Scholarship

The Adopt-a-Beehive with Alan Wong Scholarship is made possible through the generous support of donors who have joined Chef Alan Wong in adopting beehives at UH Hilo’s Farm Laboratory in Pana‘ewa. Up to 3 scholarships of $1,000 are available.

Adopt-a-Beehive with Alan Wong Scholarship

The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship assistance to students enrolled at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo.

Recipients must be enrolled full-time (12 credits or more) in any area of study at UH Hilo. They must have successfully completed Entomology 262 with a "B" or higher grade, must have completed the requirements for participation in the Adopt-a-Beehive with Alan Wong program, enrolled or completed Entomology 350, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
