Application for Writing Intensive (WI) Course

This form is for:

  1. First time application for a course or a course renewal. If approved, this course can maintain the WI designation for three years from semester application was submitted.

    Or

  2. A special topics course (194, 294, 394, or 494 courses). If approved, this course can maintain the WI designation only for the semester applied for.

    Or

  3. An experimental course (197, 297, 397, or 497 in fall or 198, 298 398, or 498 in spring or summer). If approved, an experimental course can maintain the WI designation only for the semester applied for.
