1. Meeting called to order at 2:01 pm.

2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting on September 6, 2019

Vote: 6-0-0.

3. Chair Announcements:

None.

4. Agenda Items/Discussion:

• 4.A. Assessment Update- Quantitative Reasoning Assessment Due to Scott
  • Scott received MAT, MED, DNP and HRMA. He still needs KHUOK, TCBES, COUNS PSYCH, and PHARM. Please send to him when finished.
• 4.B. WICHE Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP) Update:
  • Shelby and Mike met with VCAA Ken Hon and he agreed to endorse 125% of resident rate. He wants all programs to participate and depending on how fast we can move along, we are looking at tentatively starting Fall 2021. Ken will meet with Chancellor Bonnie and have an update next week.
• 4.C. TCBES Requirement that Faculty Mentors Complete Title IX and Workplace Violence Training
  • TCBES approved policy that faculty mentors must complete Title IX and Workplace Training before advising students. They will be sent a certificate of completion and the program will keep it on file.
• 4.D. Graduate Division Updates:
  1. “Graduating Soon?” Fliers- Decision to add in “6-week lead time” to ordering commencement regalia step.
  2. Reminder on Thesis Defense Schedule/Grad App deadlines.
  3. Application Numbers as of 10/4/19
