HPP. Hawai Ľi Pan-Pacific Requirement Fall 2017 and thereafter

One 3-credit course.

Students select one semester course designated ‚ÄúHPP.‚ÄĚ These courses investigate major aspects of the culture, language, economy, history, or natural environment of Hawai Ľi or of another indigenous culture or nation or region of the Pan-Pacific region (Oceania, Asia, the west coast of the Americas). Courses foster critical understanding of different cultural perspectives, values, and world-views and the ability to acquire additional knowledge about these.

These courses are certified as meeting the Hawai Ľi Pan-Pacific requirement effective Fall 2011 and thereafter, including 2017-18. Students using the 2017-18 catalog who wish to apply to the Hawai Ľi Pan-Pacific requirement courses not listed on this page must submit a Request for Modification of Academic Requirement form.
