Agenda Items:

1.) Approve previous Meeting Minutes

• Motion by Todd; Seconded by Keisuke; Approved, as no dissent expressed.

2.) Director’s Update (Todd)

• The special funded position of accounting is abolished.

3.) Chairs’ Update (Sukhwa)

• Budget requests from any faculty should be submitted to the Department Chair as soon as possible.

4.) AACSB accreditation update (Ben)

• CoBE excellence awards were proposed (cf. agenda item #7 below).

5.) SPC update (Angela)

• A letter was sent to Rebecca Choi (a member of the CoBE advisory board).

6.) To establish three CoBE awards of excellency (teaching, service, research), publicize them on CoBE website, and to revisit them a year later (Angela)

• Motion by Angela; Seconded by Keisuke; Vote 12-0-0.
