Discuss Classroom assignments: (Angela) There are limited classrooms to be shared by faculty and often the small K-Building classrooms are in demand but it is unclear how classrooms are assigned to faculty and to courses.
Discussion will address:
- Understand the existing classroom assignment process
- Propose a process for classroom designation that is inclusive of all faculty
6.) Faculty Classification (Keisuke)
Per Keisuke, the gap between the 5-year cycle of the post-tenure review and the AACSB 6-year cycle is problematic. Because of this gap, we can no longer use the AACSB point system directly for the post-tenure review. In addition, the list of intellectual contributions should be updated. The current standards can be found in the links provided:
- Current 5 year cycle: 75 pts.
- 6 Year cycle proposal: 90 pts.
