  • BUS110- remove from maps/catalog, and archive course Motion by Sukhwa; seconded by Todd; vote: 12-0-0.
  • MGT423- remove as prereq for MGT429 Motion by Ben; seconded by Todd; vote: 12-0-0.
  • ACC201- remove as prereq for MKT310 Motion by Xuan; seconded by Todd; vote: 12-0-0.

5.) Discussion on Course & Classroom Scheduling (Chairs & Angela)

a. Discuss the current procedures for determining who teaches on Tues/Thurs & M/W/F (Chairs) b. Discuss Classroom assignments: (Angela) There are limited classrooms to be shared by faculty and often the small K-Building classrooms are in demand but it is unclear how classrooms are assigned to faculty and to courses.

Discussion will address:

  • Understand the existing classroom assignment process
  • Propose a process for classroom designation that is inclusive of all faculty

6.) Faculty Classification (Keisuke)

  • Per Keisuke, the gap between the 5-year cycle of the post-tenure review and the AACSB 6-year cycle is problematic. Because of this gap, we can no longer use the AACSB point system directly for the post-tenure review. In addition, the list of intellectual contributions should be updated. The current standards can be found in the links provided:

    • Current 5 year cycle: 75 pts.
    • 6 Year cycle proposal: 90 pts.
