Agenda Items:

1.) Approve previous Meeting Minutes

• Motion by Andrey; Seconded by Keisuke; Vote 10-0-1.

2.) Director’s Update (Todd)

• Business Night at Imiloa from 5:00 to 8:30pm on 5/8.
• ATP proposal for MBA at the Faculty Congress this Friday.

3.) Chairs’ Update (Amir)

• Request to review the four-year map of your concentration.
• Inform Amir of the courses impactful on AACSB (e.g., community engagement, applied learning).
• Review G.E. statuses of courses each faculty member teaches.

4.) AACSB accreditation update (Ben)

• Data collection for AOL is ongoing.

5.) SPC update (Angela)

• Next meeting on 1/21 (Wed).

6.) Extramural Funding as a key performance indicator (Sukhwa)

• Discussion on extramural funding as a criterion for contract renewal, promotion, and tenure.

7.) Formal Consultation Draft Policy on the Learning Management System:

• Concerns about III B ii: Remove “and announcements functions.” Also, remove v.

8.) TOUR 350 Enrollment & Field Trips (Angela)

• Discussion on the issue that a large enrollment constrains field trips due to van capacity.

9.) UHH Daycare Center (Andrey)

• Inform Andrey of any needs for the Daycare Center. Possibly testified at the upcoming BOR meeting.
