UH Hilo Vulcan V.I.B.E "My Journey" - Ekaterina Rose

UH Hilo College of Business & Economics Major, Ekaterina Rose

In the special edition of the “My Journey” Vulcan V.I.B.E series, UH Hilo College of Business and Economics student Ekaterina Rose, born and raised on the island of Oʻahu and a graduate of Kahuku High School, expresses her reason for choosing to stay in Hawaiʻi.

Rose states: “I learned and I recognize how beautiful the island is. Why am I deciding to move away and go to a college somewhere else when I have the resources here to be able to spread it to others and to let them open up their hearts to Hawaiian culture as well”.

Rose continues to talk about what “Connecting Learning, Life and Aloha” means to her and advice for future students.
