Honey Coconut Beer Shrimp
Ingredients
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp crushed red pepper
- 2 ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 3/4 tsp thyme
- 3/4 tsp oregano
Batter Mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup Ale beer
- 1 Tbsp Lava Bee Honey
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 2 lb raw shrimp
- 3 cup coconut
Directions
- Place vegetable oil in a frying pan to cover the bottom.
- Dip shrimp in seasoning mix, then the batter, and then the coconut.
- Fry shrimp and brown on both sides (only a few seconds)
- Dry shrimp on paper towels then place in warm oven 300 degrees until shrimp is cooked.
