Honey Coconut Beer Shrimp

Ingredients

Seasonings

  • 2 tbsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp thyme
  • 3/4 tsp oregano

Batter Mix

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup Ale beer
  • 1 Tbsp Lava Bee Honey
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 2 lb raw shrimp
  • 3 cup coconut

Directions

  1. Place vegetable oil in a frying pan to cover the bottom.
  2. Dip shrimp in seasoning mix, then the batter, and then the coconut.
  3. Fry shrimp and brown on both sides (only a few seconds)
  4. Dry shrimp on paper towels then place in warm oven 300 degrees until shrimp is cooked.
