Border South Sweet Chili
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 5 tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 2 large tomatoes
- 2 cans red kidney beans
- 1 can beef broth
- 4 tbsp. paprika
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 4-5 green jalapeños
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup honey
Directions
- Cook beef in a large pot over medium heat until browned and crumbled.
- Stir in chopped onion, garlic, jalapeños, chili powder, cumin, paprika, and tomatoes.
- Cook for about 10 min.
- Stir in beef broth, beans, honey and brown sugar, bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve with cilantro garnished.
