UH Hilo, College of Arts & Sciences, special funds, full time, non-tenure track, nine-month appointment, to begin approximately August 2013 pending position clearance and availability of funding.


Teach lecture and laboratory courses in Introductory and General Chemistry; maintain and promote safety in laboratory courses; advise students.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field from an accredited college or university (degree fully completed at time of application) and college level teaching experience.

Desirable Qualifications

Demonstrated high quality teaching in an undergraduate institution and experience teaching in a multicultural setting. College level chemistry teaching experience beyond the teaching assistant level.
