To accomplish our mission, we provide the following:
Student and Community events
We will hold events that include everyone, particularly those who self-identify with the LGBTQ community, students of all cultures and colors, and tailoring events to raise awareness of diversity related issues facing people today.
Educational programming on issues of women and gender that supports the university's academic mission and the general well-being of students. In order to accomplish this, the Women's Center puts on various projects. Please take a look at the Programs and Events to see what is going on this month.
Direct services and resources
Direct services and resources for students dealing with domestic violence, sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and hate crimes:
- Providing a “safe space” where students can talk story about their lives
- Helping students to obtain resources or help within the community or on campus
