What is Good Neighbor Day?

Good Neighbor Day is a fun way for gaining understanding and appreciation for others. It also builds self esteem by helping community members and organizations around the island through volunteer work and donations.

This year's event will be on April 17, 2009 from 9am - 2pm.

If you are interested in volunteering with your fellow students, in the Hilo community, then this is a great event for you!

• Volunteer to help organizations in our community.
• Free transportation, breakfast and lunch provided.

2008 Good Neighbor Day:

• 40 volunteers
• Worked at Hilo Boys and Girls Club Community Garden and at the Hilo Adult Day Care Center.
