Mission
The mission of Kīpuka is to provide a "home" on campus for all Native Hawaiian students that ensures their success at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and encourages them to give back to the Hawaiian community. Also to increase the number of Native Hawaiian students entering and completing post secondary education, to develop their leadership potential, and to increase the number of Hawaiian leaders in professional fields and in the community.

- University 101 and Hawaiian Leadership language and culture classes
- Statewide dissemination of program information
- Recruitment of Native Hawaiian students
- Leadership development experiences
- Community service projects
- Tutoring

- Peer Mentoring
- Assistance with Financial Aid (especially scholarships designated for Hawaiians)
- Advocacy for all Native Hawaiian students at UH Hilo
