Instructions

A $50 application fee is required with your application. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid each time you apply. A form to pay the fee by credit card is available for download in Adobe Acrobat format.
Transcripts from all previous colleges and post-secondary schools are required of transfer students. Official transcripts must be sent directly from each school to the Admissions Office.
High School students must have official high school transcripts and SAT or ACT scores sent directly to the Admissions Office.
Incomplete applications will not be considered past the deadline. Complete applications must have transcripts and test scores as stated in the Admissions Requirements.

The form and instructions are available for download in Adobe Acrobat format. Print out the Residency Declaration form and submit it to the Admissions Office. I would like to participate in WUE. I am a permanent resident of a member state and I agree to the terms of participation. Terms: To be eligible for the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program, you must be a resident of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming or Washington state. WUE tuition and fees are equal to 1.5 times the resident rate. Your residency status must be maintained throughout the duration of your participation/enrollment in the WUE program. Should you choose to change your residency status to Hawaii, you must comply with the University's residency requirements from the time in which you terminate participation in WUE. Non-resident tuition and fees will be assessed while you are in the process of qualifying for Hawaii residency status. The academic eligibility requirements and program restrictions are listed on the WUE program application form .

I am Hawaiian, a descendant of the aboriginal peoples that inhabited the Hawaiian Islands and exercised sovereignty in the Hawaiian Islands in 1778. (Mail an official copy of your birth certificate and, if necessary, that of your parents and grandparents, documenting your Hawaiian ancestry.)

I claim legal residency in the Pacific-region country of which has no public institutions of higher education. Mail the UHH Official Certification of Domicile form to the Admissions Office.
