The university is committed to putting into action the activities highlighted in the strategic plan. The aim is to infuse implementation of the plan into the day-to-day operations of the university with each unit and department working together, as a whole, to meet its goals.

Implementation overview
The Chancellor has asked all major university units to develop an implementation plan that will set out what each unit will do to advance the actions of our 2011-2015 Strategic Plan.
In this context, unit is defined as each of the four major university divisions - Academic Affairs, Administrative Affairs, Research and Economic Development and Student Affairs - and the Office of the Chancellor. As such, the Chancellor will be expecting five unit implementation plans.
The aim of the implementation process is to integrate the strategic plan into the fabric of the university and for all involved to understand their contribution toward making the plan a success.
Strategic Plan Progress Review Team
The Chancellor has established a Strategic Plan Progress Review Team (PRT) as an independent group to assist him with (1) reviewing and monitoring the process of implementation, and (2) communicating said progress to the broader university campus and community.
The PRT comprises seven voting members and two ex-officios:
